Hope, Faith and Charity

The stock market is plummeting. Business has slowed. The world is in turmoil. I am nervous. Very, very nervous.

I'm leaving the house at 66 degrees. I'm turning off all the lights. We're visiting the library. I'm stocking up on ramen. And I'm making a donation to my local public radio station.

If you have nothing, you have nothing to lose.

Here's one of my favorite Bob Dylan songs. May we all find shelter from the storm.

I love that song, its one of a few my DH learned to play on his guitar...
I love the line that goes... "beauty walks a razor's edge someday I'll make it mine" or something like that.

I love that song too. One of my favorites as well. We've been doing the same thing over here. I've been loading up on cheap, dry goods, have refused to turn on the heat (it gets chilly at night but that's what down comforters are for!), and have started cutting back in all possible ways, including where I buy food (which has been hard for me, because we have very expensive tastes). My husband's restaurant is restructuring to cover the losses they've experienced in the past few weeks. And that really, REALLY scares me...but I digress. Sorry. I love your blog, peculiar momma!
