Giveaway Time!

You guys did it! 100 likes on our Peculiar Momma Facebook page. Yipee! I am thrilled! Honestly -- you people are the best.

To say THANK YOU I am hosting not one but two giveaways!

First on the auction block -- a vintage Pyrex Spring Blossom mixing bowl (oft called Craisy Daisy), coupled with a vintage Cutco Cookbook (which has amazing illustrations), a vintage apron and a set of matching Pyrex salt and pepper shakers. Just think -- soon you could be mixing cookies in this fabulous bowl (by the way I'm making Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies today -- num num!)

The second giveaway is for a Brownie Hawkeye camera; similar to this gal here. She's great for display or for ttv photography.

Now how, you might ask, do you enter to win? Well let me tell you.

  1. First leave a comment on this post and tell me which item you would like to win and why. Easy peasy. Be sure to leave a link containing an email address should you be a lucky winner.
  2. Second visit my Etsy Shop -- come back and tell me what your favorite item is.
  3. Third tweet about this giveaway then come back and leave a link to your tweet.
  4. And, finally, give us a "like" over on our Facebook page then leave a comment saying you did so.
This contest will run for one week -- I'll accept comments until noon Pacific Standard Time on Wednesday September 15th. After that time I will draw two lucky winners.

And tomorrow -- another announcement. Stay tuned!

As for my favorite item in your etsy shop...it's tough to pick just one item, but I'm quite partial to the pumpkin hat. When Andrew was first born I looked everywhere for a knit pumpkin hat in his size in a pattern I like and came up empty handed...which is when I decided to learn how to knit and I made one on my own. So, pumpkin hats hold a very special place in my heart. Although, I also like the quilt and the vintage children's books. :-)

I would love to win the camera! I collect vintage cameras, and NONE of them are in working condition. So to to be able to have one that works, so that I could finally try TTV photography would be absolutely lovely :)

Thank you so much for the chance to win!

My favorite item in your Etsy shop is this butter dish: http://www.etsy.com/listing/50460394/vintage-pyrex-butterfly-gold-butter-dish

My grandmother had dishes with this pattern on them, and I remember this butter dish was always displayed on her kitchen table.

Oh wow! Two awesome items!

I'd love the camera. I've always wanted one of these to display. I've loved cameras since I was a little girl and had my very own little point-and-shoot camera. With that little slide thing on the back to advance the film inside the little cartridge. And then when I was 8 I got a Polaroid and...well, I love cameras. :D

I would love the camera. I'm opening a farm sanctuary up next summer and it would be great to have an old camera to take TTV pics of the pigs and cows! I don't have twitter but I'm leaving a message either way. My favorite item on your Etsy site is the old kitchen scale, and I love your photography photos!

As for your etsy shop, I'm partial right now to the mustard yellow scale. It's so sweet and would look perfect in my kitchen! If only I needed to weight a bunch of stuff! :)
